A WEIRD HERO FROM THE PAST RETURNS! “THE LAST DOMINION: THE IRON SKULL” DEBUTS FROM PRO SE!

Pro Se

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Known for breathing new life into classic, often forgotten characters, Pro Se Productions has joined forces with creators Jay Piscopo and Frank Schildiner to bring new versions of obscure comic heroes into modern prose as a part of THE LAST DOMINION, a new imprint at Pro Se Productions.  The first volume in this new line spotlights the strangest of super heroes-THE IRON SKULL by Frank Schildiner.

“Bringing the past into the present,” says Tommy Hancock, Editor in Chief of Pro Se Productions, “is not only something that we enjoy, but it’s something that Frank Schildiner and Jay Piscopo excel at. THE LAST DOMINION takes a group of characters that really never got the chance to grow into their own in their original comic apperances, some only appearing a handful of times, if that many.  What Jay and Frank have created is a world that these characters share and a universe where they can become, where they can fill wild and wonderful roles. Frank has taken what was a particularly oddball concept, The Iron Skull, and made him so much more, in a story that borders on nostalgically psychedelic!”

In the deepest heart of the Amazon rainforest, a team of explorers are about to place their lives in the deepest peril. They will face eldritch horrors, ancient mythological monsters and nightmares of long forgotten empires. But unknown to them, a secret protector is in their party. This being, an ancient, inhuman sentinel of justice will attempt to guide them through the horrific dangers of lost Lemuria. He is the IRON SKULL!

The Iron Skull, originally created by comic legend Carl Burgos for Centaur Comics, appeared as a backup feature in AMAZING-MAN COMICS #1. He was reimagined by Frank Schildiner and Jay Piscopo who present to you a unique and surreal adventure starring this almost forgotten hero of comic legend. Jay Piscopo's THE LAST DOMINION brings THE IRON SKULL by Frank Schildiner to life! From Pro Se Productions.
