Based in Batesville, Arkansas, Pro Se Productions has become a leader on the cutting edge of New Pulp Fiction in a very short time.

Pulp Fiction, known by many names and identified as being action/adventure, fast paced, hero versus villain, over the top characters and tight, yet extravagant plots, is experiencing a resurgence like never before. And Pro Se Press, publishing New Pulp since August, 2011, is a major part of the revival, one of the reasons that New Pulp is growing by leaps and bounds!

Pro Se is the place to find Super Heroes, Explorers, Fairies, Werewolves, Men's Men, and Femme Fatales.  Specializing primarily in prose books, anthologies, and magazines, Pro Se has made a commitment to 'Put the Monthly Back into Pulp' and continues to do that successfully, producing at least one New Pulp work every month!

Pro Se is an innovator in New Pulp, continually refining its presentation and product and working on exciting new veins of New Pulp to bring to readers and fans of all ages everywhere!

Lance Stahlberg- Author

After surviving college and a decade of trying to fit in the world of traditional wisdom, Lance Stahlberg wandered the fringes of the comic book industry. First as an indie self-publisher, than as a distributor for a few years.

He has since joined the New Pulp movement with novellas in the crime, spy thriller, superhero, and supernatural genres.

He was Nominated for 2014 New Pulp Awards: Best New Writer.

The Jazz Age is over and the Great Depression and Dust Bowl are ravaging across the United States. People need someone to blame.

Luckily for a population who needs a scapegoat, the next wave of human evolution has begun, and it couldn’t have chosen a worse time to be born. Men and women with amazing powers now fly across the sky, turn their skin into gold, and block bullets with their bare hands.

Some take to crime.
Some hide their powers for their own safety.
Some seek the Underground Railroad for safe haven and a new life in Mexico.
Some try to fight the good fight and turn the tide of public opinion as heroes.
All of them are in the wrong place at the wrong time in a wounded, terrified, and violent country.

In this collection from Pro Se Productions, several of the top writers in New Pulp Fiction spin history ’round like a top to create an alternate reality both comfortably familiar and strangely new for readers of action, adventure, and crime stories.

Regina Cross had it all. A great guy. A full ride scholarship. Dreams of Olympic gold. The only drama in her life involved trying to survive college midterms. But everything changes when secret agents ambush Regina, drawing her into the world of espionage!

Now operating under the codename "Orchid" with a team of independent spies, led by former KGB agent Nikolai Chenko, Regina Cross seeks out other sleeper agents as part of a covert war against a criminal intelligence network known as The Enclave.

By Lance Stahlberg, Codename Orchid is packed full of suspense, action, and espionage that will leave readers eager for Cross’s next mission.
