Astounding New Adventures of the World’s Most Famous Detective- The Astonishing Tales of Sherlock Holmes! Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s creation that literally changed the face of fiction and popular culture lives on in a daring new imprint from Pro Se Productions. Author Nikki Nelson-Hicks takes Holmes and Dr. Watson on a mystifying, shocking journey into mystery and intrigue in the line’s debut volume- The Astonishing Tales of Sherlock Holmes: The Shrieking Pits! Dr. John Watson discovers that his friend, Sherlock Holmes, has gone missing while hunting fairies in Norfolk with Ulysses K. Todd and his secretary, Mrs. Bernardine Dowell. Concerned that his friend is on a drug induced bender, Watson goes with the pair to Aylmerton to help his friend, only to discover something more sinister is afoot. What appears a frivolous excursion into myth hunting takes on a different tone when Watson discovers encrypted notes from the Diogenes Club to Holmes. The World’s Greatest Detective is not hunting fairies, but on the trail of Viking silver and a daring heist. Holmes must use every skill at his disposal to discover the secret of the Shrieking Pits while deftly maneuvering around ghost hunters and fairy enthusiasts….and not add to the body count. Nikki Nelson-Hicks brings her adoration for Doyle’s character as well as her own fervent imagination to brilliant life in The Astonishing Tales of Sherlock Holmes: The Shrieking Pits! From Pro Se Productions.

When a Hungarian immigrant out to live the American Dream rents a room to a private detective with his own aspirations, voodoo and demon chickens must follow, right?

They do in Author Nikki Nelson-Hicks’ A CHICK, A DICK, AND A WITCH WALK INTO A BARN, the first in Hicks’ Pro Se Single Shot Signature Series featuring her original character, Jake Istenhegyi, The Accidental Detective.

When Jake Istenhegyi inherited a used bookstore in New Orleans, he thought he had finally found a haven. Thousands of miles away from the political unrest in Budapest as well as his mother’s Gypsy clan, that had hounded him since he was a boy. Here, he could hide away and spend his days reading and drinking coffee in peace and quiet.

Then he rented out a room to Barrington “Bear” Gunn, WWI vet and aspiring gumshoe who dreamed of living the life of his detective pulp heroes. Bear bartered his services to people in very low places and, in the end, pulled Jake down with him, enrolling him in a business that never goes out of business: fighting evil.

Jake never wanted adventure or mystery. He’s always been allergic to things that go AAAARGH in the night. They make him break out in blood. And not always his blood.

A CHICK, A DICK, AND A WITCH WALK INTO A BARN by Nikki Nelson-Hicks. The first installment of the JAKE ISTENHEGYI, THE ACCIDENTAL DETECTIVE Pro Se Single Shots Signature Series.

One of the most original detective characters ever created returns for his second adventure! Nikki Nelson- Hicks' Jake Istenhegyi, the Accidental Detective, returns for a new adventure in the Pro Se Single Shot Signature Series- GOLEMS, GOONS, AND COLD STONE BITCHES!

After being forced to put a bullet through the head of his best friend to end his suffering, Jake Istenhegyi is done and he wants to pack his bags and get on the next plane to anywhere but here. Goodbye to New Orleans, goodbye and good riddance to the Odyssey Shop, a business he never wanted anyway, and a big fat goodbye to the detective game that he barely knew how to play anyway! But it just isn't working out that way. A few hard, dirty truths are blocking his way. Like how he has inherited more than just a run down used junk store from his Uncle's sudden death-by-bus, the real business being conducted at the Odyssey Shop...and then there is the naked girl bleeding to death on his staircase....and all before his first cup of coffee.

GOLEMS, GOONS AND COLD STONE BITCHES is the second stand alone digital single short story in the JAKE ISTENHEGYI, THE ACCIDENTAL DETECTIVE ongoing series, part of Pro Se Productions' Pro Se Single Shot Signature line.

Trouble happens everywhere in the universe. Any time. Any place. And to make sure whatever cockeyed balance exists is kept, the universe takes care of itself. Some ethereal cosmic force assigns special individuals to the unpredictable, unrewarding, and usually life-threatening task of Troubletaking, being in the completely wrong places at the totally right times to hopefully keep everyone… or most everyone from dying. But the universe doesn't trust just one person to do this. No, it works in groups of two.

Stocky, barrel-chested, two-fisted and sarcastic, the being known as Moose stands ready to deliver a soliloquy over the bodies of whoever gets in his way. And Selene Karanova Wirl, Skwirl for short, is seductive, sexy, and wields a sense of humor that could kill almost literally. These two ‘TroubleTakers’ travel space and time very much at random, figuring out whatever issue they are thrown into and then fixing it. In their own unique, usually very destructive, bloody style. The only trick is they often have to keep from killing each other first.

Authors R.P. Steeves, Percival Constantine, Nikki Nelson-Hicks and Gordon Dymowski travel the universe to bring to life a concept created by Tommy Hancock. The Adventures of Moose and Skwirl. From Pro Se Productions.

Nikki Nelson- Hicks' Jake Istenhegyi, the Accidental Detective, returns for a new adventure in the Pro Se Single Shot Signature Series- ROAD TRIPS, ACID BATHS, AND ONE-EYED BASTARDS!

Amateur detective and professional trouble magnet Jake Istenhegyi has once again traded the pan for the fire. He's on the run, on a cross-country trip with a beautiful, immortal alchemist, both of them chased by an ancient order of killers. At the end of the road? Maybe the conclusion to Jake's search for the salt of life, or maybe betrayal and sudden death at the end of a one-eyed man's gun.

ROAD TRIPS, ACID BATHS, AND ONE-EYED BASTARDS is the fifth standalone digital single short story in the JAKE ISTENHEGYI, THE ACCIDENTAL DETECTIVE ongoing series, part of Pro Se Productions' Pro Se Single Shot Signature line.

WHEN THE SHADOW SEES THE SUN is the realization of a concept of a brilliant creative mind that recognized certain things in himself, dark things. Things he thought he might not overcome. He conceived this idea, partly in jest, but more in earnest desire. A book focused on creative souls who experience depression and struggle with horrors that they exorcise by putting them to paper, but just can’t always let go of that way. He wanted there to be a book out there for creatives (and others who might benefit) by creatives to address the struggles so many endure and to offer ways to cope, to deal, and to move on. To overcome. Logan L. Masterson lost his battle with what plagued him on March 29, 2016. And this book, his idea, is now a reality, to help bring to light the issues creative souls do endure, many similar to anyone else, some unique to our own little family. All proceeds from this book will go to a variety of charities, local as well as state and national, to promote suicide intervention and prevention as well as to assist with working through and surviving depression, with a focus being on those who are artists, writers, performers, etc. affected by this. In these pages, authors John G. Hartness, Tim Byrd, Ernest Russell, Phillip Drayer Duncan, Mark Bousquet, Thomas R. Skidmore, Nikki Nelson-Hicks, Andrea Judy, Scott Hancock, Joe Hilliard, Herika R. Raymer, Melinda LaFevers, Alexander S. Brown, Joseph Lamere, Lee Houston Junior, Ethan Nahte, Kristi King-Morgan, Jason Holmes, Lou Mougin, Judy Wall Crump, Mark Steinwachs, Nancy Hansen, Chuck Miller, Aaron Smith, I. A. Gillentine tear open their souls for you to read. Introduction by Julianna Robinson. Cover by Adam Shaw. And make no mistake. This book is about and because of Logan L. Masterson.
