Wayne Reinagel has built a fantastic world that takes the best of the pulp universe, and a fictional verson of our own reality. Once again, he takes the family of Doc Titan (Doc Savage) and turns his cousin loose on a island of death. It shows the side kicks are more than just tagalongs. They are heroes in their own right.
