A popular New Pulp character makes his return to print from Pro Se Productions very soon and he’s bringing company with him!   Today, Pro Se Productions, a leading New Pulp publisher, reveals the cover of the upcoming follow up to its best selling STING OF THE SILVER MANTICORE.

THE SILVER MANTICORE: FRIENDS AND FOES by PJ Lozito is a collection of stories focusing on the heroes and villains, the sidekicks and henchmen that surround the mysterious masked crimefighter known as The Silver Manticore.  The  cover, wonderfully rendered by Pro Se Artist Adam Shaw, is reminiscent of classic Pulp covers.  It features not only the Manticore himself prominently, but members of the legions of good and evil ready to fight one another for or against the masked man.

“This cover,” says Tommy Hancock, Pro Se Editor in Chief, “could very well have graced a Pulp cover in the 1930s or 40s.  Adam brings such a classic touch to his work, showing his clear appreciation for the Golden Age Pulp art.  The way he works with the colors, too, makes the image seem to move.  Shadows move across the Manticore’s face and the action in the foreground seems to bubble with life.   The stories in the collection are PJ’s homage to the Pulp heroes he’s loved and Adam’s cover is a great tip of the fedora to the covers of a bygone era.”

THE SILVER MANTICORE: FRIENDS AND FOES will be available in the coming weeks from Pro Se Productions.  Lozito’s first novel, STING OF THE SILVER MANTICORE is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and wherever fine books are sold.
